The Rise of the Far Right

Former Danish Prime Minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, and distinguished visiting fellow of the Global Dimensions programme, will examine the rise of the far right in Europe within the wider context of the globalisation debate in The Rise of the Far Right on Wednesday 16 October at LSE.

Poul Nyrup Rasmussen was Prime Minister or Denmark from 1993 to 2001.

Former Danish Prime Minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen will be at the London School of Economics from Monday 14 to Friday 18 October.


The Global Dimensions programme is based in the Centre for the Study of Global Governance at the LSE. Under the directorship of Lord Desai and with the benefit of a generous grant from BP, the programme was initiated to research and develop policy responses to the issues generated by globalisation.
