Italy and its Discontents: 1980-2001

Contemporary Italian political affairs will be under discussion at an event entitled Italy and its Discontents: 1980-2001 on Monday 18 February at LSE.

Paul Ginsborg, author of Italy and its Discontents, Robert Leonardi, European Institute, LSE, and Angelo Maria Petroni, director of the Advanced School for Public Administration, Italy, will be speaking on the first and second Berlusconi governments.

Professor Anthony Giddens, director of LSE, will chair the event, which is free, open to all, but ticketed.

Please note that all tickets for this event have now gone. There will be a live video link to room D602, Clement House which will be free and open to all with no ticket required. There will also be a returns queue in operation and any seats in the Hong Kong Theatre that are unfilled by ticket holders just before the start of the event will be filled by people from this queue
