Beyond "Strategic Depth:" Islamism, Turkey's Foreign Policy and the Arab Spring

The central argument of Dr Ozkan's topic is rather than following Neo-Ottomanist path, Turkey's foreign policy shifted towards Islamism since AKP came to power in 2002. The lecture seeks to analyze theoretical and ideological sources of Ahmet Davutoğlu’s Islamist foreign policy approach and how the Arab Spring affected Turkish foreign policy toward the Middle East.
