About me

Yoav was Visiting Fellow at the Middle East Centre in the Summers of 2018 and 2019. He is a Lecturer at the Kinneret College on the Sea of Galilee. He was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ben-Gurion University and a Visiting Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt. His research focuses on transitional justice, peace processes and conflict resolution.

As part of the research for his PhD (Tel-Aviv University, 2017), Yoav created the Transitional Justice in Peace Negotiations (TJPN) Dataset, which identifies transitional justice elements in over 200 years of peace processes worldwide. At the Middle East Centre he is examining the issue of transitional justice as it has been negotiated as part of the political process to end the Syrian civil war.
