Jack joined the Middle East Centre in 2017. He was previously an editor at Hurst Publishers and has worked in translation and education in Jordan. He completed his MSc in Arab World Studies at the University of Edinburgh, and studied Arabic at the Qasid Institute in Amman. 

At the Centre, Jack edits the paper series, coordinates online communications and social media, and manages academic publications and research outputs. He is also undertaking a PhD at the LSE Department of Sociology, where he researches activist mobilisation in the Syrian Revolution.
