• 17.9% of the participants were cybervictims and 6.4% of the students were cybervictims.
• Males had more cyberbullying and cybervictimization experiences than females.
• The most harassment behaviour reported was posting harmful negative content and the most common harassment environment was the online game environment.
• 38.4% of the participants reported that they informed their parents or teachers about their cyberbullying experiences.
• Most of the students were not aware of safety strategies related with cyberbullying experiences.
• The participants who had a successful academic level and higher internet use levels were prone to cyberbullying experiences.
