|
• An average 18-year-old today feels more adult than an 18-year-old in 1993.
• Youth in Slovenia identify with adulthood earlier than youth 18 years ago, but at the same time they are slower at moving out of their parents’ house, establishing economic independence and creating their own family.
• In 2010-20 the number of youth (aged 15-29) in Slovenia is expected to drop to around 20%.
• The number of the old population (aged 65+) will almost triple by 2050.
• Most young people think that the ageing of the population is bad.
