Findings

 

• 97% (ages 14-19), 95% (ages 20-29) and 94% (ages 30-39) use the internet. Overall, people with Abitur/A-levels use the internet more often (92%) then those without. Most important types of use are private mail (82%), access to news and information (65%) and queries for addresses and telephone numbers (63%). • Stable internet connections and high transmission rates are even more important for the respondents than a good price to performance ratio. Aspects of service and convenience are less important.
