• Some personality characteristics in terms of locus of control and antisocial tendencies directly and indirectly affected unethical computer usage behaviour while social norms indirectly affected it. • While external locus of control and antisocial tendencies resulted in more unethical computer use behaviour, internal locus of control and antisocial behaviours indicated less unethical computer use behaviour. • Aggression had a direct and mediating indirect effect on unethical computer use behaviour.
