Does the contempt law need reform? A new Polis Paper reports on a Chatham House rules seminar with top judges, lawyers, editors and academics.
Polis held the seminar in partnership with the BBC College of Journalism and the LSE Law Department to discuss the practice of contempt law. Over twenty-five participants, representing the legal profession, journalism and academia, were in attendance. Joshua Rozenberg, legal affairs editor for the Daily Telegraph, chaired the event.
