This project, which is funded by the Leverhulme Trust, focuses on the study of innovation in organisations. Its objective is to generate new insights into the social and psychological factors which affect innovation.
Specifically, the project proposes an in-depth, longitudinal examination of work teams in order to develop and test theory on how teams innovate and the critical processes that evolve over time. Research will focus on three aspects of teams: diversity, leadership and team member relationships.
