PhD student in Management Science
Sumitra Sribhashyam is a PhD candidate in the Management Science Group. Her PhD thesis ‘Modelling Dynamic Preferences - Modelling Dynamic Preferences of Malicious Agents to Help Manage Risks of Violence Outbreaks’ is supervised by Dr Gilberto Montibeller and co-supervised by Dr David Lane.
Before coming to study in the UK, Ms Sribhashyam has studied Mathematics, Physics and Computer Sciences in France for two years, after which she moved to the UK to complete a BA Hons in Marketing Communications and then an MSc in Operational Research from the LSE. She worked as a Project Manager in Xerox and, subsequently, as a consultant for an SME to help them set up their Quality Management System. Alongside the PhD, and participating in other research projects, she has been a Graduate Teaching Assistant for undergraduate and master students at the LSE and has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.
