PhD student in Management
Catherine graduated from Imperial College London with a first class honours in chemistry with management science and later gained her masters in management and a Sloan fellowship from London Business School. She enjoyed over 20 years in the corporate world in a broad career from marketing and product development to customer service and operations; from personal advisor to the chief executive to director of a £500m international business unit with thousands of staff. In 2003 she was shortlisted European business woman of the year by the European Union of Women and in 2007 she was shortlisted best mentor in the Blackberry women in technology awards. In 2005 she founded a consultancy and mentoring business advising other business leaders, with clients including Sun Microsystems and PWC.
Fascinated by why others followed her, Catherine is currently researching leadership.
