iSCHANNEL is looking for you and your writing!

Submit your papers for the upcoming 14th edition to be published Fall 2019

Have you dreamed of being published in an academic journal? Do you have a topic you’re passionate about but haven’t gotten to explore yet? Perhaps, you’ve already written a great essay that you want shared with someone besides the marker?

Throughout our years of education we write so many essays that are left stored in dark archives and endless databases after being marked. We think that too many of your valuable insights are hidden away and forgotten. That can change with iSCHANNEL.

The iSCHANNEL invites you to submit your papers for the upcoming 14th edition to be published Fall 2019!

As a student journal of information systems the iSCHANNEL is based in the Department of Management in the Information Systems and Digital Innovation Faculty Group. The journal’s core subject focuses on the study of information and communication technologies (ICTs), and on the broader social implications of technological innovation. However, research works from other perspectives are very welcome, provided that they place the discussion on digital innovation and ICTs at the core of analysis.

Submissions will need to come in the form of research papers, revolving around one or more of the themes inscribed in the intellectual tradition of information systems. Authors are strongly encouraged to present papers where theory, while being clearly outlined, is matched by empirical studies, and upon which clear implications are predicated.

The deadline for final submissions is 29th March 2019.

All submissions will be undergoing a double-blind peer-review process and finally the editorial board will decide on the most suitable papers to be printed in the journal.

Paper submission guidelines:

  • Manuscripts have a word limit of 4000 words. This includes title and footnotes, but excludes abstracts (max. 300 words), references and appendices.
  • All manuscripts should be submitted in MS Word format.
  • No material will be considered for publication if it is currently under consideration by another journal or press, or if it has been published or is soon to be published elsewhere.
  • Contributors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any material in which they do not own copyright.

How to submit your paper:

  • Submission form
