General Management track

This track is based within the central group of the Department. Students on this track will pursue one of the three distinct subtracks listed below:

Each sub-track differs only by nature of the courses which are taken in year one.

Track structure

Quantitative Approaches (for students with prior statistics background)

Year one

Training: Compulsory examined courses
  • Research Paper (1 unit)

1 unit from the following:

0.5 unit:

A Department optional course or optional course from another department as agreed with supervisor and Programme Director (please ensure you choose a course with the equivalent value of 0.5 units).

Transferable skills: Optional non-examined courses

Attendance and participation at Research Seminars held across the Department.

Year two

Transferable skills: Optional non-examined courses

Attendance and participation at Research Seminars held across the Department.

Year three

Transferable skills: Optional non-examined courses
