Employment Relations and Human Resources track

The Employment Relations and Human Resources track is situated in the progressive Department of Management, ranked #2 for management and social sciences. It is grounded in LSE’s core principles of understanding theory and critical analysis. Students will establish a core understanding in HR theories, methodology and methods in order to use various research methods across different social disciplines.

Members of the Employment Relations and Human Resources faculty group draw on the fields of economics, law, political science, psychology, and sociology to conduct theory-driven and applied research in a diverse range of industry and workplace settings. Research areas include teams, work organisation and employee participation, conflict management and dispute resolution and international labour migration.
