Overview of programme content and structure

Two years of courses worth a total of 8.5 units taken in half-unit courses in the Department of Management and across LSE, with the option to apply for a term abroad at a partner school. Courses are taught in a combination of larger lectures and small seminar classes for 15 students each.

A pre-sessional course in late September will be required (at no additional cost) for all students before the programme officially begins in October:

The MiM curriculum is built around a series of integrated half unit core courses.

  • The "LSE Experience" - Four or more electives (25% of the programme) across the LSE in any discipline, including but not limited to management courses such as Finance, Marketing, Innovation, Operations and Leadership.

International options

  • Professional Development Programme (PDP) - customised for students in both years
  • MiM Executive Seminar - a company-sponsored business project for student teams

Assessment

There will be both formative (practice) and summative (final graded) coursework in the form of essays, papers, presentations and exams. Students will also carry out an individual dissertation of 6,000 words.
