Kasaragod-largeJoint Managing Director, Jyothy Laboratories Ltd
Living in Mumbai, India

“I currently work as a Joint Managing Director at Jyothy Laboratories Ltd where I have been with the company since its inception in 1991 through to present day, where we stand with a turnover of $250m and a market cap of approximately $475m.

I undertook a lot of research to find the right programme for me as I wanted to learn business management with economics as a base. In the present uncertain economic conditions, and especially with the recession in the west, it makes you think about the macro business environment, in particular in emerging
markets such as India.

My aims for the programme are to get a solid foundation across all aspects of management – economics, accounting, leadership – and to understand some of the best business practices in the world to help me build my business back in India.

The Executive Global Master's in Management offers me everything I was looking for. The curriculum is vast and custom made for today’s business environment , especially for young managers with global perspectives. The diverse cohort makes the course much more interesting with debates and discussions in the classroom based on practical approaches and experience. The expert professors help us connect the theory and practice together. The courses have been great and are well integrated, the professors are the best in their field and the group work and class discussions have been an amazing experience – you learn so much from your classmates. The fact that you can learn while you work is a bonus and the overseas modules in Turkey and Singapore, further add to the attraction of the programme.”
