International brand equity and instant recognition drove me to choose the LSE over other universities that offer similar programmes. The LSE has a vast and deep Middle Eastern alumni network as well as partnerships with influential leaders, decision makers and institutions in the region, which was another main driver in my choice. The Executive Global Masters in Management equips today’s executives with a durable skill set across the core areas of modern day management, providing them with a key to sustainable growth in today’s market place.
The mode of programme delivery and the city of London are two aspects that are highly appealing in the programme so far.
I am hoping that the programme will provide me with the right platform to tackle all the core issues related to modern day management. I am currently based in Qatar working for Qatar First Bank. The bank is a principal Investor in the GCC and wider MENA region including Investments in Turkey and the UK. My current role in the Treasury department entails management of our Capital markets and liquid Investments as well as overall balance sheet management.
I honestly can say that all the courses so far have been extremely beneficial and the topics covered are relevant to the day to day challenges faced in the work place. I found the case study method of teaching in some of the courses to be extremely useful in helping me better understand the problem and how to tackle it with a practical real-life approach.
