Dr Uta Bindl earned her PhD in Work Psychology in 2011 from the Institute of Work Psychology at the University of Sheffield (UK), her MA in Organisational Management from the University of Flensburg, and her BA in International Business and Management from the University of Applied Sciences Osnabruck (both Germany). Prior to joining the LSE in 2013, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the University of Western Australia.
Dr Bindl has published her work in eminent peer-reviewed outlets, such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Management, and Human Relations. She is currently serving as an editorial board member of the Academy of Management Review and the Journal of Organizational Behavior, as well as an ad-hoc reviewer for several other peer-reviewed journals.
Dr Bindl's research interests are broadly in the areas of employee motivation and well-being at work. Current research interests include:
