Tara's dissertation research investigated how observers are influenced by witnessing aggression in the workplace. Specifically, she aims to understand (1) how the perpetrator and the target's formal and referent power influences observers' attitudes and behaviours towards the perpetrator and the target; and (2) the extent to which observers' perspective-taking influences observer attitudes and behaviors towards perpetrators and targets.
