Sharon is responsible for academic planning within the Department. This includes ensuring each teaching session is staffed; that faculty members have appropriate workloads; recruiting non-faculty teachers; writing contracts for all non-faculty teachers; managing the non-faculty teaching budget; advising on faculty recruitment; managing the course portfolio; evaluating the impact of new courses; and managing teaching quality data.
Sharon has worked in higher education since 2000, most of that in the Department of Management and its predecessor. She is also the Branch Advocate for the LSE branch of the Association of University Administrators.
