Biography
Michael has an MA from Cambridge (Engineering) and an MBA from Manchester Business School. He has worked in the public and private sectors for more than 30 years. This has included senior director/CEO roles in fashion, aviation, outsourced services, IT and engineering in the private sector and being an Agency CEO and non-executive director in the public sector.
Research interests
Michael’s research interest is in governance structures and processes that operate within organisations at the commercial interface between public and private sectors.
Thesis Title: The effectiveness of senior level governance within the UK public sector procurement process.
