PhD student in Information Systems and Innovation
Biography
Gizdem is a PhD candidate in the Information Systems Faculty Group within the Department of Management. She obtained a BEng in Software Engineering from the University of Sheffield, and an MSc in Management Information Systems and Innovation (MISI) from LSE.
Gizdem’s research focuses on observation and evaluation of telecare services in the UK with a special interest in the systems adopted by the members of the ageing population. Her fieldwork is based in Surrey, carrying out an empirical investigation of the Surrey Telecare initiative.
