Jill Nurse is a marketing specialist and professional educator. She has worked for multinational corporations such as BSkyB, Cable & Wireless Communications, Thorn EMI, as well as been involved in smaller start up organisations. She has perfomed at a senior corporate level as well as having responsibility for successfully gaining first round funding with a technology start-up.
Following around twenty years marketing and business development experience at a senior level, Jill has developed an award winning career using that experience to help students to understand the application of theoretical management and strategy concepts. In addition to running marketing classes in the Department, she lectures at Henley Business School and is an examiner for the both the University of London and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She also runs a training practice working with firms such as Merlin Entertainments, and a Magic Circle Law Firm, and teaches practitioners on CIM Professional Marketing qualifications.
