Visiting Research Fellow
Giuseppe A. Veltri holds an MSc in Social Research Methods from the Methodology Institute at LSE and a PhD in Social Psychology from LSE. He is currently a Visiting Research Fellow in the Behavioural Research Laboratory of the Department of Management, working with Dr Barbara Fasolo and Professor Amitav Chakravarti on a Framework Contract about behavioural studies on consumers' choice. He was a scientific officer at the European Commission's JRC Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS). Before joining the IPTS, he was a research associate at the Institut Jean Nicod (Ecole Normale Supérieure) in Paris. He has taught extensively in the fields of methodology of social research and social psychology. His research interests focus on public opinion research, social representations, behavioural economics, social psychology of economic life and public understanding of science. He has published in journals such as Public Understanding of Science, Nature Materials, European Journal of Communication and others.
