To gain a truly global perspective, our students will attend two international modules in Singapore and Istanbul, in addition to the five modules in London. This experience is designed to highlight topical international business issues, and give an insight into global diversity in management practice.
In addition to the classroom teaching during the two international modules, students will experience the local business culture with visits to companies in these locations, and will hear talks from prominent international industry experts based there.
We will also connect students with the elite LSE alumni network through events with our alumni based in these locations, to integrate the Executive Global Master's in Management cohort into the LSE's worldwide alumni community.
Istanbul, Turkey - experience an emerging market
A combination of macroeconomic strategy, prudent fiscal policies and major structural reforms has integrated the Turkish economy into the globalized world and transformed the country into one of the major recipients of foreign direct investment in its region. Unique in its position as a city that straddles the cultures of East and West; Istanbul is a fascinating case study location and gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in one of the world's leading emerging markets.
As one of the emerging Mint economies, you will be at the heart of cutting-edge global development.
Singapore - the Asia miracle
Boasting one of the most open and competitive markets in the world, Singapore is an ideal location to experience the full extent of the Asia Miracle. Combining company visits and guest speakers will allow students to fully explore why Singapore's economic system has become one of the most successful in Asia. This module will focus on the theme of marketing, with the ideal learning context of this dynamic and thriving economy.
This location also represents a part of the LSE's wider strategy to leverage its ties to this rapidly developing region through the LSE Asia Forum, and the annual forum was held in Singapore in 2008.
Please note the locations of the two international modules may be subject to change in the future, as we are constantly adapting and improving the programme in response to global business trends.
