The EGMiM is an intelligent alternative to an MBA, providing the same outstanding training in the core areas of management and leadership, but with a much deeper understanding of the geo-political and socio-economic contexts which fundamentally underpin the success or failure of businesses across the world.
This deeper understanding of global business is founded in the academic traditions of the LSE (ranked #2 in the world for social sciences and management), and enables our students to make better business decisions, and achieve higher-level and longer-lasting career success. They are equipped with the talent to become innovative industry leaders, and thrive with future challenges in the fast-moving global environment.
Whether you would like to transition to a management role in your current organisation, move to a different job function or industry, or manage your own company, this programme will develop your talent and provide the foundation to transform your career.
We provide our students with an understanding of business from a truly global perspective:
Global locations: with classroom modules in London, Singapore and Istanbul, our students gain experience in three contrasting markets. Learning directly from established western traditions in London, new global dominance in Asia, and Turkey’s rapidly emerging market, our students visit companies and meet LSE alumni in local business communities, providing a unique understanding of international business.
Global classroom: we carefully select a very diverse cohort of students each year, who will be living and working in a wide range of locations across the world. This means that learning is enriched by the diversity of international perspectives brought together in the classroom, giving every student an insight into the experiences of their classmates from across the globe.
Global learning: this programme takes a global perspective on the Master’s in Management curriculum, taught by our world-leading international faculty. Core courses in the key areas of management are designed to give an understanding of the social, political and economic architecture in which global business operates.
