From Saturn to Your Smartphone and Beyond: Startups, the CMOS Camera-on-a-Chip Story and Yale

LSE Management alumni are invited to this lecture which forms part of the Yale Speaker Series in London. Prof Eric R. Fossum is best known for the invention of the CMOS image sensor “camera-on-a-chip” used in billions of cameras, from smart phones to web cameras.

Automation and the Future of Work - Where are we heading?

LSE HRM Special Interest Group hosted a panel discussion with Professor Leslie Willcocks, Professor of Work, Technology and Globalisation, Ramyani Basu (AT Kearney), Purnima Mookerjee (Coutts) and Alvise Simondetti (Arup), as they debated the impact of automation on the workforce. The discussion was followed by an intimate drinks reception.
