LSE Behavioural Economics Seminar Series

A cross-departmental, inter-disciplinary initiative, founded by Adam Oliver, and later coordinated by Matteo M Galizzi.

The seminar series aimed to bring together researchers interested in behavioural economics and applied behavioural science across all LSE departments and research centres.

Speakers

The seminar series typically alternated speakers between LSE and other institutions, mainly in the London area.

  • 2015/2016 kicked-off with the LSE Behavioural Science Special Lecture on Tuesday 1st September 2015. Professor Max Bazerman, Jesse Isidor Strauss Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School, gave a lecture on The Morality of Joint versus Separate Decisions.
  • 2014/2015 kicked-off with the LSE Behavioural Science Special Lecture on Friday 17th October 2014. Professor John List, Homer J. Livingston Professor of Economics at University of Chicago, gave a lecture on Field Experiments in Economics.
  • 2013/2014 kicked-off with the LSE Behavioural Science Special Lecture on Behavioural Economics and Diet by Professor George Loewenstein, Herbert A Simon Professor of Economics and Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University.
