LSE Global Health Initiative Internal Launch

Venue: Wolfson Theatre, New Academic Building, followed by drinks and poster exhibition in the NAB LG foyer

LSE will host the internal launch of the Global Health Initiative on 18 May 2017. The launch will include a seminar on current Global Health research at the LSE followed by drinks and a poster and abstract display, showcasing current Global Health research across the School. Find out more about the initiative.

Attendance at the internal launch event will be first come first served - please email Beth Kreling on to reserve your place. This event is for LSE staff and students. A public launch event will be held in October 2017.

Poster & Headlined Abstract submission

If you are interested in submitting either a poster or a headlined abstract to be included in the poster display held during the post-seminar drinks then please find further details below. The idea is to use the posters and abstracts as a means of highlighting, sharing and discussing existing Global Health work across the school and both staff and students are encouraged to participate. Work showcased can be planned, underway or completed – this is an internal LSE event. Applicants are welcome to submit more than one poster and/or abstract. The deadline for submissions is the 8 May 2017.The submission requirements, judging criteria and guidelines closely follow those used by the LSE Research Festival. Accepted posters and abstracts will be printed free of charge by the organisers of the event.
