Working in the UK during your studies

UK students

LSE recommends no more than 15 hours of work per week during term time.

International students

LSE has a dedicated department - the International Students Immigration Service (ISIS) - who can advise on immigration rules for international students at LSE. Their extensive website contains up to date advice and information on student visas and changes to immigration that may affect current students. They also run drop in sessions for students with any further questions. All the details can be found on their website.
