Rooms are grouped into flats, comprising five or six bedrooms with shared kitchen. Lilian Knowles House is independently managed and owned by Sanctuary Students.

No. Lilian Knowles House is a self catered hall. Well equipped kitchens are provided.
What is provided in the kitchens?

Does Lilian Knowles House have Wi-Fi?
Yes, but only from September 2014. Then, all areas including bedrooms will have Wi-Fi. Currently, there is a high speed LAN socket in your room, that allows you to connect straight to the LSE network and the internet.
What shared areas are there?
The lower ground floor houses a student common room, TV room and a computer suite with a number of workstations and a printer. Also available is an inexpensive self-service laundry.
Is there disabled access?
The building has good disabled access.
Are the halls cleaned?
The communal areas of the hall are cleaned daily but you are responsible for cleaning your own room.
What bedding do I need to bring?
