MSc Human Resource Management
LSE has a great reputation and is among the best universities in the world – this became a reality to me when I saw the opportunities that opened up to me as an LSE student - the Careers Fairs at LSE definitely attract the best employers. I also chose LSE because I wanted to see what living in London would be like! On the MSc Human Resource Management we get to work with high profile organisations on real HR issues. We enjoy a lot of expert and very interesting guest speakers from different areas of the HR industry which is really enlightening. The course is also accredited by CIPD which is invaluable for a future career in HR. There is a lot of support for students and all staff genuinely want to create the best environment for us to learn in. Since coming to LSE my confidence has grown enormously. My class mates are the most diverse group of people I have ever been involved with - I have learned so much about different cultures from around the world! I am student rep for my class so this gives me the added bonus of being a point of contact for students and helping them out. I am involved in planning an exciting class trip to visit HR students at Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in France in July. Once I leave LSE I have been offered a Graduate HR role with Diageo. I start in September and will be based in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dublin.
