"I chose to come to LSE because of its prestigious reputation both internationally and within industry. The vibrant campus constantly promotes events and societies. It is a microcosm of London, in terms of its multicultural atmosphere and diverse range of conversation. The lecturers are world class, with many leaders in their field. Indeed, several of them have published our textbooks.
My programme supplied me with a thorough education in statistics and finance. I particularly enjoyed the third year courses covering very specific topics in greater depth. The course in game theory was most enjoyable. I would strongly recommend the quantitative finance option which although being very rigorous, is a rewarding course using plenty of mathematics and statistics applied to finance.
LSE offers you plenty of time to partake in extracurricular activities and I was able to pursue table tennis, the finance society and some of political campaigns organised by the Students' Union. I also had countless opportunities to obtain careers information and advice. After graduating, I will be interning for Ernst & Young in Financial Services Tax, followed by a master's degree."
