I chose to read law at LSE, because of its consistently high rankings in the
university league tables and the flexibility of its LLB programme structure. In
addition to the LSE brand, which is highly recognised in the business world, it
is also known for its superb learning environment. Taking all these factors into
consideration, it was a fairly easy choice to make.
I particularly like the way LSE structured its LLB programme. I found the freedom
to choose courses in the second and third year particularly beneficial, as it enabled
me to tailor my law education according to my interests. This made reading law
more interesting and fulfilling.
Furthermore, LSE’s supportive faculty are very passionate about teaching and
this lends towards a good learning environment.
Studying at LSE has been an amazing experience, as there is a great diversity of
students. LSE’s multicultural society has provided me with the opportunity to
meet people from different parts of the world and learn about their cultures. I
was also able to meet many people of similar interests through my involvement
in various societies at LSE. I intend to undertake the Bar Professional Training
Course (BPTC) after I graduate.
