Study spaces and group study rooms

Booking

LSE students and staff can make bookings for group study rooms and study spaces.

You can book a study space on the:

  • ground floor
  • 2nd floor

Spaces on the lower ground floor, 1st and 3rd floors are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Study spaces

Study spaces are available throughout the Library - primarily at the quieter perimeters of the building. To support you we have:

  • Opened a postgraduate student space on the 1st floor.
  • Developed the fourth floor to include group spaces, a silent study room for undergraduates and a silent study room for postgraduates.

Group study rooms

  • Study rooms are available for LSE students to do group work.
  • Study rooms are available for between two and eight people - four rooms currently have computers.
  • The rooms can be booked for a maximum of three hours per day only.
  • The rooms can be booked up to 7 days in advance.
