LSE staff and students: sign in with your LSE username and password to keep a record of all your searches and to save references to your e-Shelf.
Non-LSE visitors: save and export results without signing in. Your search history will be accessible during your session only, so remember to export your references before you leave Library Search.
Select the ‘Sign in’ tab at the top right of the screen to log in to your account.
When searching for books, simply type the keywords or the title in the search box and perform your search to retrieve a list of results.
Select a title and view details, location and availability. Select the ‘Actions’ option on the right for a range of options.
Close up:
Add a record to the ‘e-Shelf’ to save references and citations for your work.
To view your e-Shelf, select from the top of the screen. (Guest users have a temporary e-Shelf for each research session.
When signed in, references that you save are stored here and can be organised as you require.
Email, print or create a stable link (permalink) to the item to use in documents, Moodle or on reading lists.
Copy and paste this stable link where you need it.
Download the record to reference management software by using ‘Export RIS’, e.g. EndNote, Mendeley or Zotero or direct to EndNote Online.
A file of the record(s) will be downloaded with a file name such as Primo_RIS_export.ris which can be uploaded to your software, e.g. Mendeley, EndNote, Zotero.
