Library Search is a fast and intuitive library search system that enables you to search a wide range of Library content all in one place. Not all relevant resources for all topics are available via Library Search and sometimes it is necessary to search individual databases.
If you are conducting research on a topic and do not have a reading list, we recommend starting with Library Search and search individual database.
Do not assume a simple Google search will find all articles.
Our databases cover materials from a wide range of publishers so will provide more information than you could retrieve from a single publisher's ejournal site.
Some databases will link to the full text of article - look for the button; others will give you bibliographic details only.
Databases can also include information on book reviews, book chapters, grey literature, government reports, theses and so on.
Use the Subject guides to identify and locate the widest range of online resources in politics, economics, geography, history, political economy, law, philosophy, and international relations.
