The Women's Library @ LSE

The Library collects social sciences material in the widest sense, with the collections particularly rich in economics, statistics, political science and public administration.

These pages contain information on some of the unique collections held by the Library.

The Women's Library documents all aspects of women’s lives with a particular emphasis on the lives of women in the UK and the great political, economic and social changes of the past 150 years.
The Library has extensive collections of government and inter-governmental organisations, including many statistical publications.

Within the collections there are a range of research materials to support study of themes such as Britain and the European Union. View some of our unique and distinctive material covering this area. 
The range of data and statistics, including highlights from the Data Library, provides evidence of social and political change throughout history.


The Library's rich collections of archive holdings include the archives of LSE itself (LSE history collections)
