Maria is the Learning Support Services Manager leading on the development of the Library's learning support and training services.

She is also Academic Support Librarian for the Department of Law and the European Institute.

Maria joined LSE in 1997 as 'law librarian' having worked previously at a city law firm library. She took over responsibility for the European Documentation Centre in 2001 and has also worked with the United Nations documentation and the other  Inter-governmental organisations (IGO) materials.

Maria is responsible for the information literacy teaching programmes run by the Library providing learning support and teaching information and digital literacy skills to students of all levels to enable them to make the most of the extensive collections and research materials available to LSE staff and students for their research.

Contact Maria to discuss and arrange any information skills training required for students. Workshops can be organised for specific courses and tailored to students' needs at any point in their course.

Teaching, learning and research support
