Language Centre

The Language Centre here at the London School of Economics reflects the specialist nature of the School itself, namely, a world class institution where the quality of teaching and research is paramount.

LSE is not just a multi-national university but also a multi-lingual one.

To read this policy please see the LSE Language Policy. |

Linguistics and Literature Degree Programmes|

If you are an undergraduate student and wish to study how linguistics and literature fit into the framework of Society and Politics you should consider these options. Our literature programme is taught by Dr Angus Wrenn| and Dr Olga Sobolev| and our linguistic option by Dr Peter Skrandies|

Most of our courses are scheduled courses running throughout the academic year. However, we do at times run short courses available to the LSE community only, for example as part of the Maximise Your Potential| programme, or one off Learning Support| workshops. These courses use the LSE Training System| for sign up. See here for what is currently offered|.
