English Programmes

We have a programme for those of you who are thinking about applying to LSE or another UK University. A programme for those of you who are about to commence study at LSE or another UK University. A support programme for you during your time at LSE as well as a programme covering English for Teaching Purposes.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Pre-sessional Programme| If you already have an offer from LSE or another UK University you could consider our Pre-sessional Programme before you start your main studies. We offer a 5 week and 2 weeks courses throughout August and September
 
Foundation Course
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Foundation Programme| If your first language is not English and you are hoping to study Social Sciences at the LSE or another UK University you could consider this programme to bring your English up to the level required. The courses runs for 10, 20 or 30 weeks.
 
Campus Sign
When you begin your studies we will still be on hand to give you advice and support throughout your time at LSE. This Insessional EAP support |is free and starts as soon as your main course does. Please have a read through the information on this site as it is important to register as soon as possible.
 
Library Window
We provide two English for Teaching Purposes programmes|. One forms part of the LSE Teaching Task Form and classes are intended for LSE teaching staff and Graduate Teaching Assistants|. The other is a course entitled Teaching English for Academic Purposes (TEAP) Course| which is suitable for experienced EFL teachers wishing to specialise in teaching EAP.
