How can I pay?

What else might I need to know about payment?

  • If you are an LSE student and you receive funding from your Department you should register and pay for your course. Academic departments will be confirming with us those eligible for funding during the Autumn Term. Based on the level of subsidy you receive we will then refund you through the LSE eShop. This process will be completed once registration closes. This means you will receive any reimbursement, as early as possible, during November.
  • If you are a member of LSE staff and receive funding from your Department or Service Unit you should register and pay for your course and then submit a claim via One Finance for reimbursement.
  • For any members of LSE staff in receipt of Learn for You funding you should register and pay for your course and then submit a request for reimbursement using this form. Based on the level of subsidy you receive we will then refund you through the LSE eShop.
  • If you are a UK/EU LSE undergraduate student and do not have a GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in a language that is not your tongue you can claim a free language course during your time at LSE. Please check the LSE Language Policy for details. You should register and pay for your course and then complete the LSE language policy claim form to request a refund. If you have any questions about whether you are eligible or not, you can check with us during our Live Chat sessions we hold during registration times. NB: GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent is the level of our Level 2 (Fast Track), so you would need to be claiming for a course at that level or below.
