Join former Argentine Finance Minister Alfonso Prat Gay for a discussion of recent economic developments in Argentina and the prospects for this year’s presidential elections. 

Alfonso Prat-Gay (@alfonsopratgay) is an Argentine economist and politician, serving in office from December 2015 – January 2017. As a Congressman, he worked on projects such as increasing banking security, preventing money laundering and drug trafficking, and extensive deregulation of the Argentine financial system.

The talk will be chaired by Professor Andrés Velasco (@AndresVelasco), Dean of the School of Public Policy and the former Minister of Finance in Chile. He has held professorial roles at the Harvard Kennedy School and Columbia University´s School of International and Public Affairs.
