LSE Welcome Presentations

Welcome Week (previously Orientation Week) will take place from Monday 21 September 2015. During this week, you will be required to attend your compulsory LSE Welcome Presentation.

Presentations are given by senior LSE staff and representatives from the Students' Union. This is your opportunity to learn more about the LSE community and our opportunity to welcome you to it, including valuable information about the wealth of support available to you while studying at LSE.

These sessions are different those held in your academic department, which may also be compulsory, so please make sure you attend both.

Date, time and location

The date and time of  Welcome Presentations vary depending on your level of study and your academic department.

Download the LSE Welcome Presentations 2015 schedule for further details.

Late arrivals

All students are expected to attend their scheduled LSE Welcome Presentation. If for any reason you expect to arrive after Welcome Week (previously Orientation Week), be sure to review the Late Arrivals pages for information on what you need to do. Recordings and slideshows from the LSE Welcome Presentations will be made available on the Late Arrivals webpage during the first few weeks of Michaelmas Term.
