During Welcome (Friday 15 and Monday 18 - Friday 22 September), we operate extended opening hours, from 10am - 5pm with increased numbers of staff.

The SSC is likely to be extremely busy during Welcome, so plesae be prepared to queue, however SSC staff will do our best to help you as quickly as possible.

NB: After the Welcome period has finished, the SSC will return to its usual opening hours of Monday - Friday, 11am - 4pm.

Student Welcome Staff

LSE employes a number of temporary student staff members to help welcome you to the School.

They will be staffing Help Points, leading campus tours and organising queues between 10am and 4/5pm each day. You'll be able to spot them easily around campus because of their full "Welcome Staff" uniforms.

Student Welcome Staff have been trained to answer most basic FAQs and to direct to the appropriate source(s) of specialist advice. Speak to our Welcome Staff and see if they can help you - it might even save you having to queue in the Student Services Centre!.
