If you're looking for information about Welcome Week 2015 (previously Orientation Week), you're here a bit too early. We'll be updating this site with information during the summer of 2015.
There will be Help Points set up on campus during Orientation Week in the following locations:
On Clare Market, opposite St Clements Building
On Houghton Street, opposite the Old Building main entrance
Help Points are staffed by student helpers who can help answer any questions that you may have. The help points will also be loaded with useful materials and are a great place to go for advice during Orientation Week!
Guided campus tours
Student-led campus tours take place throughout Orientation Week, helping you to get to know the campus from a student perspective.
Tours leave every twenty minutes from the Help Point outside St Clement's building, every day from 10am - 3:30pm throughout Orientation Week.
There is no need to book, just turn up!
Self guided campus tours
If you're arriving before or after Orientation Week, or if you'd just rather get to know the place at your own pace, you can download our LSExplorer instead!
Learn your way around the library in advance by downloading the Library audio tour.
If you haven't yet registered and received your student ID card, you can still access the library by using the temporary card that was sent to you in your offer pack, or by bringing your offer letter to the Library reception.
These fun tours of LSE's historic surroundings will take you off campus and back in time! A professional tour guide will teach you all about the history of neighbouring Lincoln's Inn, the infamous Sweeney Todd of Fleet Street and more!
Local History Tours will operate on Tuesday 23 - Friday 26 September for early arrivals and from Monday 29 September - Friday 2 October during Orientation Week. Booking is not essential, but will guarantee a place. For more information, visit the Orientation Events webpage.
