Third party requests for verification of qualifications

Third-parties who wish to verify the details of an individual’s LSE degree award should do so online via Higher Education Degree Datacheck (HEDD).

How to make a verification request

  1. Enquirers should first register with HEDD at www.hedd.ac.uk.

  3. Log in to HEDD and submit the details you wish to verify:
  • name
  • date of birth
  • degree programme title
  • level of award
  • year of graduation
  • degree classification
  • dates of attendance (if required)

Charge for verification requests

Response times

If the information provided matches that held in the dataset, HEDD will be automatically verify the information.
