What to bring with you
Please ensure that you bring your Ede and Ravenscroft booking reference number with you. You would have received this when your placed your booking.
Academic Dress Return
Gowns should be returned to the Student Services Centre Atrium or to the gown drop in the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre, Sheffield Street, by the closing time the same day.
Dress code suggestion
Graduands should wear business attire, smart national dress or other formal clothing under their gowns. We would also highly recommend that students wear a shirt or blouse with buttons, as this will ensure that the hood of the academic dress stays in place. Those who do not want to wear a button down shirt may bring hair or safety pins to help keep the gown and hood in place.
Please note that, although you will receive a hat as part of your academic dress, it is an LSE tradition that hats are not worn on stage when graduands are presented. We will ask you to leave your hat on your seat or carry it in your left hand as you walk across the stage.
